Pastebin app updates

I've been getting a lot of interest in my Pastebin demo app -- partly by those wanting to play with Dojo+ZF, partly by those just interested in the application.

I'm constantly trying to improve the application. I've done one webinar and one UnCon session showcasing it, and will be presenting it at Dojo Develper Day in Boston this Monday as well as at php|works later this fall, and want to keep the materials up-to-date and freely available. To this end, I've created a Github repository so you can track the latest developments, as well as pull custom tarballs:

All patches and feedback are welcome!

Nah -- I'd just developed the app locally using Git, so it made sense to keep it that way. Eventually, though, I expect all of you to start seeing the light ;-).

Hey Matt, just wondering, if you get some time, could you possibly run through for us what's happening with the form.isValid function in the layer.js file? I've pulled pastebin apart and used it as a basic framework to build my own site, and it's all going quite well, but I can't seem to connect to dijit.byId('formid'), only dojo.byId('formid'), which doesn't have the .isValid method. The forms I'm generating are basically cut and pastes of your form generating code (different fields, but same submit buttons and so on), but it just isn't working. Not getting a single error out of Firebug either :/

Oh I see what you did!

The culprit is the

'ignore' => true

on the submit button. Once I removed that it acted exactly like I was expecting. Too easy!

Err. I take that back. That "ignore" seems to prevent it submitting as a form value. Ugh. Now I have no idea why everything started working. Oh well, I suppose I shouldn't complain too much

I've downloaded your latest Pastebin app. Great job as usual. Like last time, everything works fine when I set it up as vhost. When I set it up with an alias directive and make the appropriate change to Initialize.php it doesn't work very well. The problem seems to be with the xhr's. When I select the tabs or the elements in the nav pane the application fails with an error like:

message : Unable to load /spindle/api/spindle/paste/content/active-grid.html status:404,
status : 404,
responseText :

404 Not Found

Not Found
The requested URL /home/bhembree/workspace/pastebin/public/api/spindle/paste/index.php was not found on this server.




The problem seems to be with the *.html files and json. If I navigate using URL's rather than the tabs, all works well.

Any ideas?
